Hi Everyone!
I'm pretty new to this whole blogging thing, so bear with me!
When I'm not spending time being extremely nerdy or knee-deep in homework, (undergrad problems!) I spend my free time roaming Pinterest for new crafts to partake in. This includes crafting for my dorm room, crafting for Christmas gifts, or just random crafting. I can't get enough!
I've recently decided to expand my craft skills to include sewing, which, crafty or not, is a great skill to learn. While I was fairly well-versed in hand-repairing things with a needle and thread, large hand-sewn projects are too tedious for my liking. Thus, I decided I needed to acquire a sewing machine! This year, my Christmas list consisted of a relatively in-expensive, beginner sewing machine, which I think will meet all my needs for the time being.
Regardless of the fact that my mother thought I was completely loony, I'm stoked for Christmas to get here! Where does blogging fit into this you may ask, well I recently discovered the blog of a woman who calls herself the Refashionista. Prior to this discovery, I had never heard of refashioning, and for those of you who also haven't, refashioning consists of taking an outdated (usually over-sized) frock and changing it into a completely current, wearable article of clothing.
I was so intrigued, I decided to create my own blog, and share all of my neat crafts (well, I think they're neat) with the world! So here goes!
